Here’s a quick summary of the plans for the day.
The event officially starts at 4pm at the Bridge House. The PTB ladies, El and Amanda, will be sat just near the main door on the High Street and recognisable courtesy of PTB tote bags. They will have copies of the maps of the route. Some maps will also be available behind the bar from 2pm should you wish to have a meal or drink before the event begins. We will also have a face painter there from 2pm should you wish to have your child’s face ‘spooked up’.
The route proceeds down the High Street, where the children will pop into any shop displaying our poster in the window (as listed on the map) and be given treats.
The event finishes at 5:30 at the Goldsmiths Tavern where I will be, sporting a PTB tote and waiting with more treats. There will be a function room available till 7pm to allow the children to play after the event.
We recommend you don’t start later than 4:45 to enable your children to complete the route.
