Last Year Stephen Sondheim’s legendary musical was staged for the first time at the National Theatre and won the Oliver Award for “Best Revival” and multi 5 star reviews. The show starred Imelda Staunton, Janie Dee and Tracie Bennett.
We are overwhelmed to announce we have been given the rights to screen the cinema release version of the show.
New York, 1971. There’s a party on the stage of the Weismann Theatre. Tomorrow the iconic building will be demolished. Thirty years after their final performance, the Follies girls gather to have a few drinks, sing a few songs and lie about themselves.
This exclusive showing also includes 2 special interviews with the director Dominic Cook and Sondheim himself and will last 3 hours with a 20 minute interval.
