Calling Local Graphics Editors….
Penge town centre will soon have its own website, providing information about its facilities, services and shops. The procurement of a contract for a website developer will commence soon and be advertised via the council’s site (we will alert on here when it happens). One thing the site will need is a simple colourful rectangular header image to be used across the top with the two words Penge and SE20 (ideally the SE20 will be smaller than the Penge one). There will also be a need for another logo that can be used elsewhere on the site that will need to be more square/compact for use at the top of columns, etc. That one should have a similar look and font to the first, just be a different shape.
The successful designer will not only have the kudos and social standing of a person whose logo adorns a site dedicated to the greatest community in South London but also receive £50 as a cash prize, kindly donated by Ian and Judy at Designer Drapes. We need something ready to hand to the website designers when they are appointed so there is a deadline of 7th Feb. Please submit any entries to ptb-team@outlook.com.
