An eggstra special event this Easter: The PTB Easter Egg Trail

Penge’s littluns are licking their lips in anticipation of our annual spring time chocfest… Yes, we are joining up with the amazing folk at the Penge Traders Association and doing another Easter Egg Trail!

The event will take place on Easter Saturday (15th April), from 4:30 till 5:30. It will involve our little locals completing a route on and around the High Street, collecting little numbered stickers as they visit the shops named on the map. Each shop will have a different numbered sticker (23 in all) and the children will stick the stickers on a special sheet. At the end they will hand in the sheet to the PTB volunteers at the finish, where they will be given a tasty chocolate egg in return. Both the Goldsmiths and Pengetout will provide some simple fun things for the children to play with. Simple.

You can download the PTB Easter Trail Map 2017 here

The event will have three start points, spread around the High Street, where the sheet for putting the stickers on can be obtained from 3pm on the day of the event. The start points will also have copies of the map so choose the most convenient start point for you. Note that the stickers won’t be available anywhere before 4.30.

All we ask in return is that the children wear something appropriate for the event. Maybe an Easter bonnet? Or bunny ears? Or an egg shell head? Or, as this is Penge, home of the World heritage dinosaurs, a dino mask or outfit.

Have a cracking day, petit Pengites!

fantastic event!! first time we’ve been to an event in penge, but it wont be the last. kids absolutely loved it, and unlike other ones this one gave out proper sized easter eggs – not little crème egg ones. a big well done to all the businesses and volunteers who organised this.
