'The Ira Aldridge Walk: Tracing the History of Theatre in Penge.' Meet outside Anerley Town Hall at 10.00am on Wednesday June 17. As part of the Penge Festival we learn about the heritage of performance in Anerley Town Hall, the legacy of the great Shakespearean actor Ira Aldridge who lived in Hamlet Road, and conclude with a warm welcome at the new Bridge House Theatre.
