What Would Spock Do?

14th July 2015 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm

| £10

An uplifting new comedy about love, Star Trek, and learning to accept who you are – no matter how much of a loser it makes you.

Gary Thompson grew up as a huge Star Trek fan, but now his friends just think of him as ‘one of the lads’. All this is set to change when a new colleague appears at work, and is an unashamed Star Trek fanatic. Should he confess his now-secret love of all things Enterprise, and risk becoming a social outcast once again?

At times like these, there is only one question for Gary to ask himself: what would Spock do? This new show comes to the stage in the same year as the world paid tribute to the career and life of Leonard Nimoy, who died in March.

The show’s writer/director Jon Brittain also created hit cabaret sensation Margaret Thatcher Queen Of Soho and has a new play set to premiere at Theatre 503 in London later this year. Performer Sam Donnelly has been seen in Edinburgh fringe hits including The Bunker Trilogy and as Quasimodo in Belt-Up’s acclaimed take on The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

‘Brittain’s razor-sharp script keeps the audience in gales of laughter.’ The Stage on The Sexual Awakening of Peter Mayo

‘As hilarious as it is well observed. Truly excellent.’ One Stop Arts on My Imaginary Friend Patrick Stewart
