Hi Bunty it’s Elaine I’ve been told about the wrong cat ours has just walked in , I did not know about the other one never seen it well done for rescuing it hope it will be ok , sorry about the mix up , regards Elaine .

Dear Elaine, I am sorry but there were lots of people locally asked about the cat and nobody knew of an owner. The cat is dehydrated, full of fleas and has poorly eyes. It’s not right to leave a cat in that condition. Cats are pets in cities, not feral rat catchers. The cat is now fostered via South Norwood Animal Rescue and
Sanctuary. If you are the owner please contact them. If you are the owner you need to care for him, he is not well and should not be left on the streets.

This is the only way I know how to get this message through , re miss bunty Rance , dear miss Rance the ginger cat that you are thinking about taking to a shelter is not a stray , we know you see him around he is a free spirit that loads of people know and love he is one of the best mousers and rat catcher you will ever meet . Trust me when he comes in at 3 in the morning with an early breakfast in his mouth purring and miaowing his head off I’m sure you would agree . You cannot take the cat away he is a pet and a character of Penge ask my customers in the Crooked Billet , regards Elaine . If anyone knows Miss Rance please inform her of this message many thanks .

Saw the Halloween Trailers, if I can call them that, from my bus. They startled the bus passengers and created quite a sensation on board. Later, some little vampires boarded my bus and used their vampire magic to make every single passenger smile at once. What a great achievement for the Halloween Trailers, the event organisers, and for Penge?

Thank you so much to PTB and the establishments who took part in the Halloween trail. My daughter and I had a fantastic time. The atmosphere was amazing so to was the community spirit.
